Healthy life expectancy in Scotland drops to just 61 years for men and women

Healthy life expectancy has dropped across Scotland according to a shock new report, with a widening gap between the richest and poorest. Males can expect to live in good health for an average of 61.7 years from birth while for females it is 61.9 years, according to a report published today by the National Records of Scotland (NRS).
