Construction workers brought in to build a multi-million pound energy centre in Grangemouth say they’ve been “left in the dark” after work was halted.

It’s claimed CNIM (Earls Gate) Limited, who are responsible for the site, have not continued operations as promised after the New Year break – with staff turned away from the site earlier this week.

Bosses at Brockwell Energy, the owners of Earls Gate Energy Centre, say the French construction company have made any contact with them.

One construction worker has told Falkirk Live that staff returned to the site this week, Monday January, 10, but were denied access by security teams.
