THE desk from Alex Salmond’s RT show is being flogged at auction.

The former First Minister had a show which launched in 2017 on the Russian state broadcasting channel.

The former SNP leader suspended his show in February amid the war in Ukraine.

The move came amid mounting anger over the continuation of the programme on RT – formerly known as Russia Today – which the ex First Minister had repeatedly refused to pull.

Now the desk from the show appeared to be up for auction.

The walnut “presenter’s desk” with a large version of Alex Salmond’s signature was posted on a bid spotting website.
