A Scots doctor who was stuck at home after being struck down with Covid was left shocked when his car was targeted by crude vandals.

Glasgow Royal Infirmary doctor Connor Togulu’s car was daubed in vile slogans and images when he left it parked on a street near to his home in Partick.

After fighting the virus, Conor returned to his car to find a penis was painted onto his windscreen and the word c*** scrawled in yellow paint on the side.

Speaking to Glasgow Live, Conor said: “I really love the area, but the parking on the street can be very busy. I came back home from a late shift and parked by the corner – it was the only space available and there’s pretty much always a car there.

“Unfortunately I caught covid and wasn’t too well for a week so I didn’t move my car over that period. I’m guessing that someone over that week got more annoyed as the bit of the road is pretty tight if there’s a car also parked across the way, a little bit further down.

“So I come out of my flat opposite on Thursday and find my car covered in spray paint on all four sides. I felt pretty devastated, I’ve been unwell and I was just about to start working nights this weekend when I saw my car, which I’ve had for eight years now, completely vandalised.
