No decision has been made on whether to hike council tax bills for one in four households in Scotland, the Deputy First Minister has said.

Shona Robison said today the Scottish Government was still consulting on the issue ahead of a Budget statement expected in December.

He told MSPs: “Now the SNP want to make that worse by asking both mum and dad to pay more income tax, to pay hundreds of pounds more in council tax, and £15 a day to get to their work in Glasgow.
