First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has been branded a “one-dimensional bore” by former Scottish Labour minister Brian Wilson.
The SNP leader spouted further commitments to hold what some see as the ever-illusive IndyRef2, promising her followers that she will “do everything within my power” to guarantee a vote by the end of next year.
But Mr Wilson commented in his column for The Herald it was not much more than a “broken gramophone record” to him.
“It is government by procrastination, without sufficient interest to deliver actually change,” he said as he noted the SNP’s poor track record of following through on town centre initiatives in local councils.
He said: “Town centres – a topic Ms Sturgeon would regard as far below her paygrade but actually the kind of thing that affects people lives”
