A POLICE probe into the SNP’s finances amid allegations of £600,000 going missing is continuing.

The investigation was opened by Police Scotland last July after questions were raised about how donations to Nicola Sturgeon’s party were used. Officers said “enquiries are ongoing” six months on.

The probe came after police received seven complaints from pro-independence activists who accused the SNP of mishandling more than £600,000 in donations for a second referendum.
